This popular rose design is made using a square of mulberry paper torn around the edges to give the feathered effect and embellished with a single slanted rose. The roses and paper are available in a variety of colours.
Traditionally used to invites your evening guests to your wedding. Available in 3 sizes and all made with the finest hammered card and paper. All invitations come with matching hammered envelopes.
3 Invitation Sizes available (see thumbnail images for picture examples)
- Standard evening invitation size = A5 card folded in half 14.7cm tall by 10.5cm wide.
- Tall evening invitation size = DL card. 21cm tall x 9.5 cm wide.
- A5 evening invitation size = A4 card folded in half 14.8cm wide by 21cm high.
Our DIY invitations include:
- Card printed with standard text 'Evening Invitation' font used is monotype corsiva.
- Blank paper inserts which can be printed with the wording of your choice for a charge.
- Matching hammered envelopes.
- Paper flower in colour of your choice.
- Mulberry paper as shown in the design already torn and ready to be stuck down.
- Glue is NOT provided with your DIY kit but can be purchased separately from us.
- Templates in Word to print your inserts on your home PC.
Our Advise when making our designs: Although glue is not provided with your DIY kit we recommend that you use prit stick or similar glue to stick in your paper insert.
We also recommend that you use a glue gun to stick down the design on the front of the card, this is by far the best way to assemble your stationery and you will struggle with any other type of craft glue. Glue guns and glue sticks can be purchased from us.
Have a pair of sharp scissors to hand to trim your bows to your preferred length.
All our stationery is available in white or ivory 260gsm card with matching paper insert.
