Decoration Options

• All goods remain the property of (The Owner) Blissful Designs and at no time shall title pass to you (The Hirer).
• During the period of hire, the Hirer is solely responsible for the hired goods and the Hirer shall at all times be responsible for insuring all goods, from the time of acceptance of the goods until return and acceptance of goods back into possession of the Owner.
• The Owner shall not be responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property arising from the use of any goods under hire.
• A cancellation fee will be payable as agreed between the Owner and the Hirer.
• All hire goods require a £100 non-refundable booking fee at the time of order (unless the Hirer opts to pay the full balance at the time of ordering). This acts towards the cancellation fee unless otherwise agreed.
• The balance of the contract price (including delivery charge) is due for payment by the Hirer prior to the event. The Owner however, reserves the right to charge interest on payments outstanding after the due date for payment.
• Special orders require a 50% non-refundable booking fee at the time of order which acts towards the cancellation fee unless otherwise agreed and the balance of the contract price is due on completion of the order.
• A refundable sum of money is payable by the Hirer in addition to the hire charges prior to collection/delivery of the goods. This is a deposit against safe/prompt return of the goods.
• The hire shall be deemed to continue until the goods are made available to the Owner or returned to their possession and the Hirer shall be charged the additional hire fees (if applicable).
• The Owner must be informed immediately of any extension in the hire period, and the Hirer shall be charged extra accordingly.
• Orders are delivered by the Owners vans within the local area and by courier service to other areas.
• The Owner will make every effort to deliver and collect at the times requested by the Hirer, however the Owner will not be liable for any loss arising directly or indirectly from any delay in the delivery of the goods.
• The Owner will endeavour to supply the specific items requested, however the Owner reserves the right to substitute an appropriate alternative where necessary. All colour swatches are only a representative of the actual colour as shades may vary.
• The Hirer will be required to inspect and sign for the goods at the time of delivery. Any discrepancies to the order which are not notified at this time will be exempt from any credit/refund.
• Any person not the Hirer, who signs a delivery/collection note at the venue is deemed to be authorised to do so.
• Hire goods must be available for collection at the delivery address unless otherwise arranged. All deliveries and collections will be charged for.
• No goods will be accepted by the Owner other than that which has been hired and specified on the collection note. Any goods returned which do not belong to the Owner will be notified to the Hirer. Should they not be collected within 28 days the Owner reserves the right to dispose of them. Should the Hirer wish to have them returned to them then it is at the Hirers expense.
• The Hirer must ensure that the linen goods are completely dry before they are packed and returned as they may be attacked by mildew and will then be chargeable at full replacement value. Wet linen goods should not be packed in polythene.
• If hire goods are returned back to the Owner in poor /damaged condition or if there is a shortage of goods, the Owner will raise an invoice for their full replacement value to the Hirer. Substitute items will not be accepted and all damaged goods will remain the property of Blissful Designs.
• All hire goods must be returned in original packaging.
